M25 to 127

§ From the M25 take exit 29 the A127 to Basildon and Southend.

§ Stay on the 127 for about 13 miles passing over the Basildon underpass and the Wickford underpass.

§ Take the next exit to the underpass which points to the A 1245 and A130 to Chelmsford, Battlesbridge and Hullbridge. The A1245 is a re-numbered road, it used to be the old A130.

Don’t follow the route for the A130 as it will now send you in the wrong direction. Follow the signs for the A1245 to out to Hullbridge, Wickford and Shotgate.

§ Turn left onto the A1245 at the round-a-bout/underpass.

§ Continue to the next roundabout, and go straight over. (left will take you to A129 to Wickford and right to Rayleigh).

§ Get into the right-hand lane of the dual carriage way as soon as you can.

§ At the first set of lights turn right into Rawreth Lane.

A12 from Clacton & Clochester

§ From the A12, look for junction 17 (Junction with A130/A114) sign posted A130 Basildon and Southend.

§ At the roundabout take the 2^nd exit which indicates Basildon Southend and Woodham Ferres. This is the new A130. The first exit takes you through Howe Green, and is an alternative rout to the Turnpike round-a-bout.

§ Approx 5 miles along the A130, take the next turn signed A1245 to Battlesbridge, Retendon and Rawreth. I think the Bridge is the Turnpike Bridge. Keep in the right hand lane.

§ At the round-a-bout, take the 3rd exit signed A129/A1245 Rayleigh, Shotgate and Rawreth.

§ .6 of a mile along this road, you will see the Rawreth Town sign.

§ As the road splits into 3 lanes, slow down and indicate left. There is a slip road just before the lights signed to Rawreth Industrial Estate. Take this slip road into Rawreth Lane. Should you miss this slip road, you cannot turn left at the lights. Continue to the round-a-bout and come back up the A1245 to lights where you will turn right into Rawreth Lane.

Venues

§ If playing at Rawreth: Drive slow as Carter and Saunders Farm is about 100 yards up on your right. Look for the second set of gates between the black barns and brick wall. The Farm is opposite a park/cricket field.

§ If playing at Hullbridge Sports Association: Continue to the end of Rawreth Lane.

§ At the mini round-about, turn left into Rayleigh Road.

§ Continue for about a mile, passing the Hanover Golf Course on your right. This road will make a sharp bend to the right as you come into Hullbridge. You are now in Lower Road. Care this speed trap area. You will then come to a mini round-about.

§ Proceed across the round-about and up the hill.

§ On the right you will pass a Garage named, Coventry Hill Service Station.

§ About 100yds past the garage on your right, is the entrance to The Hullbridge Sports Association (the re-named Hullbridge Sports & Social Club). There is a sign post on your left about 20yards before the turning. The entrance to the club is a gap between a row of houses.

§ The Matchroom is around the back of the main club. Care as the driveway is a bit churned up. There is parking around the back of the main club.
